Returns, Exchange and Refunds Policy

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges Policy: The Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges Policy applies to Glammu’s website (www.glamu.com) and the mobile application under the brand name “Glammu” (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). This policy pertains to specific products and provides you with options for returning or exchanging items purchased on the Platform. You can initiate a return or exchange within the specified return/exchange period, as detailed on the product details page. The return/exchange process is subject to applicable terms and conditions outlined in this policy, along with any other policies that may be applicable from time to time

 

Returns

At the time of purchasing any clothes listed on the Platform, You will be visiting the product description page which will set out whether the product is returnable or not. The clothes that are explicitly identified as 'not returnable' on the product detail page cannot be returned while the clothes which are identified as 'returnable' are eligible for return with the conditions as specified in the product description page and this policy. The Platform at its discretion may not accept returns of any clothes for reasons, including but not limited to, the clothes being sold under any offer, promotion or discount, if the clothes being returned are not in good condition, etc.

Glammu shall not be liable or accountable for accepting returns in the circumstances where You have: (a) not followed the process of initiating returns as provided in this Policy and in other communications to You, (b) returned a shipment with the wrong product, extra product or missing products, and (c) acted in bad faith or fraudulent manner. Further, in the event of abuse of the Platform or the Platform policies which include excessive returns, high claim percentage or refusal to accept shipments, indication of any fraudulent or suspicious activity or behavior on our Platform or association with any such activity or behavior, including where your user metrics such as your claim rate, return rate, etc., are higher than the average rate of the other users on our platform (“Abuse of Platform Policies”); Glammu shall at its sole discretion not accept any return initiated by You or compensate you for wrong/damaged/missing products.

 

Return Options

Certain clothes on Glammu will have two return options available: (a) Genuine return option, and (b) Easy return. If clothes do not have the aforementioned options for return, the return option available for the clothes in the product description page will be applicable. All return options are subject to the clothes being identified as returnable in the product description page.

 

What is the 'Genuine return option' and 'Easy return' options?

Subject to applicable policies, Glammu provides an 'Easy return' to its users, wherein users will be able to enjoy certain privileges on specific clothes in lieu of payment of a premium on the product cost. Features of an Easy return are as follows:

  • The user will be allowed to return already purchased clothes if they are eligible for returns.
  • The user will be eligible to return the specific clothes for reasons other than the clothes being wrong or damaged.
  • The all return option is available only for specific clothes and may not be available for all clothes which are listed on the Platform.

If You are not availing an Easy return option, you may avail the 'Genuine return option'. If you opt for the Genuine return option, then subject to applicable policies:

  • The user will be allowed to return already purchased clothes if they are eligible for return/exchange.
  • The user will only be eligible to return the clothes if the clothes received are defective, damaged, wrong, or incomplete due to Glammu's fault.
  • If user would like to exchange or return a product due to a wrong size being ordered or without any defects would be handled at user expense by placing a new order.

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. For replacements and refunds, send us unboxing videos and pictures of the product showing the defects along with the original packaging images. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted within 7 days after the delivery.

 

Cost of Return

If you have opted for an Easy return option and are eligible to return the clothes as per applicable policies, you may return the clothes free of cost no matter what the reason.

If you have opted for the Genuine return option and are eligible to return the clothes as per applicable policies, you may return the clothes free of cost if the fault with the clothes lies with Glammu. The following are the faults that lie with Glammu:

  • Return Reason Category
  • Wrong Product: Wrong Size Delivered, Same product in different color, Completely different product from the product shown
  • Defective Product: Product is dirty or with stains, Product is broken, Product is torn
  • Received incomplete product: Part of the product is missing, Less quantity than ordered

The following aspects in relation to the clothes will need to be verified before arranging return free of cost:

  • Whether the quality of the clothes returned is merchantable.
  • Whether the clothes have degraded in performance, if applicable.

 

Exchange

You can check whether the clothes are exchangeable or not after they have been delivered in the order details page in the 'My Orders' section. If the clothes can be exchanged, You may exchange them, subject to applicable policies.

Eligibility of clothes for exchange is subject to various aspects including but not limited to stock availability, address being serviceable, and such other aspects at the sole discretion of the Platform. Further, the eligibility of the clothes to be exchanged will depend upon the reason for exchange provided by the customer. The clothes will not be eligible for exchange if the reason for exchange is either of: (a) the customer is not interested in the product, or (b) quality issues with the product.

Further, Glammu will not be accepting any exchanges if: (a) the clothes being exchanged are not the same clothes that were purchased originally, (b) you have not followed the process of initiating returns as provided in this Policy and in other communications to You, (c) in a bad faith or fraudulent manner. Further, in the event of any Abuse of Platform Policies, Glammu shall at its sole discretion not fulfill any exchange initiated by You.

The exchange request must be raised within the return window period specified on the product detail page.

In case of exchange, if the cost of the new clothes is more than the original clothes delivered, you will have to pay the difference in amount and if the cost of the new clothes is less than the original clothes delivered, the difference in amount will be refunded. In the event that Glammu is not able to meet the exchange requested by You due to non-availability of the clothes, the exchange request will be converted to a return request by Glammu, at the sole discretion of Glammu and such a return will be subject to the terms and conditions of this policy.

Further, once clothes have been exchanged, there cannot be any more exchanges on the same order.

 

How to return clothes?

You can return the clothes purchased on the Platform within the specified return period provided on the product description page. To return clothes, please follow the steps mentioned below:

  • If clothes are eligible for return, the user will be able to raise the return request in the Platform by going to the 'My Orders' page.
  • Provide the details of the clothes to be returned, including the reason for return and photos and unboxing videos of the clothes, if required.
  • Once the return request is accepted by Glammu, pack the clothes in original condition with the original box, price tag and all accessories.
  • Hand over the clothes to the pickup agent.
  • Further, on receipt of returned product, the product shall undergo a quality check. If the product returned is in an acceptable condition, as determined by Glammu at its sole discretion, the refund shall be initiated, otherwise the product will be re-shipped to you, at your cost, and no refund shall be initiated.

 

What to do if you have received a defective item?

If you have received clothes that have been damaged during transit or have manufacturing defects, you can return the clothes by raising the return request and providing the details and photos and unboxing videos of the damaged/defective clothes.

 

Refunds

In the event of your order being cancelled, the amount you have paid for the clothes will be refunded to you as per applicable policies. In the event that the clothes are returned, the refund will be initiated as per the following terms:

  • For payment done through credit/debit cards or net banking, the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made, within 7-10 working days from the date of confirmation of return.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions, the user will need to provide the bank details where the refund amount will be transferred.

Refund will be processed only if the clothes returned are in original condition with tags and labels intact, and are not damaged or used. If the clothes returned are damaged, used or returned without original packaging, Glammu reserves the right to deny the refund.

 

What are the refund timelines?

Refund timelines depend on various banking and payment channels, and may vary. Refunds will be initiated as soon as the clothes are received back and verified for their condition. The following are the estimated timelines:

  • Net banking, credit card, debit card, wallet, UPI linked bank account: 7-10 working days from the date of confirmation of return.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): 7-10 working days from the date of confirmation of return, subject to providing bank account details.

 

Other

Please be aware that all customer claims and requests for returns or refunds are subject to Glammu's approval. Glammu retains the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend, add, or remove any part of this policy without prior written notice. It is your responsibility to periodically review this policy for any updates or changes.
